There are a lot of people who are using Microsoft Windows 9x/2000.
Ok, for games it is the number one Operating System; but...

Look at the files below to understand why I'm not a big fan of windows:

  • OutlookBug Yeah..I really hate Outlook!
    First of all it has some serious bugs in it, but it is even worser that you cannot post an article (usenet) correctly:
    (1) STUPID html; (2) quoting on top of an article, instead of under it...!
    But that's not everything. Also tired of the "Blue Screen Of Death" ??? Allways wondering why everytime you
    chat with someone or play an online game; windows suddenly freezes?
    That is because it is also very easy to remote kill a windows machine.
    These scripts can cause a windows machine to crash...

    There're a lot of other scripts (just surf to Google or Altavista and enter something like "windows expoits". ).

    My Opinion

    Another point why I don't like MicroSoft Windows; Windows isn't very stable!!!
    A few weeks ago I was working in Word; and then it suddenly freezes! All my hard work; gone
    in 60 seconds (hmm..sounds like a movie title..:). That is terrible.
    In linux I can do some "typing work", stop with it for a few days; and then go on working
    (while the computer stays on all the time!).

    Enough about stability; let's talk about Microsoft's attitude.

    Microsoft LIES!
    They didn't had the "browser market" conquered; because Netscape was also a
    very popular browser (it still is!); so they made Internet Explorer free (free = when
    you bought Windows, you also got IE). Of course, Netscape couldn't maintain
    his share in the "browser market" and it almost went bankrupt!
    "Was it legal what Microsoft did?" Microsoft said that there wasn't another possibiliy:
    IE was integrated in Windows.
    http://pla-netx.com/linebackn/guis/wine.html shows us, that *that* isn't true; they were lying....

    Aahhh...nice..all my Microsoft frustration is gone now...

    By the way; I didn't make this page to show stuff that you can use to do "bad things"......
    I only wanted to show that Windows isn't such a good OS as many people think it is =).
